Good morning. Today on the vintage silver bowl monogram challenge we have a gorgeous fancy script monogram. Is it a double or a triple?
The bowl is a large and substantial piece with an undulating rim adorned with a scroll motif and what look like old-fashioned roses.

Last week’s vintage silver monogram challenge
Here is last week’s challenge, found on the handle of a spoon in the Lancaster pattern by Gorham. Excitingly for me these spoons were made during a time when Gorham actually date marked their pieces. It doen’t happen too often with American silver, so I’m always thrilled to come across a piece that is!

We had 4 correct entries stating the answer is U.
Out of my trusty straw hat I have drawn Ivette’s name.

Is it cold and wintery where you are? We had just enough snow and ice over the weekend to be a nuisance. And today is grey and distinctly wintery looking.
