Good Monday morning to you. It’s a holiday weekend in the States AND it’s coinciding with gorgeous weather, I hope it is a nice a combination of circumstances in your neck of the woods. However, even though it’s a holiday it’s still Monogram Challenge day. Today it’s the Vintage Silver Oyster Cocktail Fork Monogram Challenge. Acting as our model today is one of my beloved Louis XV forks.
Vintage Silver Oyster Cocktail Fork Monogram Challenge
A gorgeous swirly triple. 🙂
How to play
For those of you who are new, welcome and thanks for taking a look around. The monogram challenge is simple to play. Take a look at the photo and leave your best guess in the comments below. If more than one person gets the answer correct, I’ll draw names out of my hat to break the tie. The winner is then announced the next Monday.
As with any good contest, prizes are involved. To read all about that and the official rules click here – Monogram Challenge Rules. If you are looking for information about Monograms on Silver – click Silver Monogram Rules – Google sends people astray every so often.
Update from last week
Last week’s challenge was on a lovely ladle.
And the winner is Isabelle Fredborg who is on quite the role. She correctly answered WN.
And thanks to everyone answering my question about the marks between the W and the N. I think it’s an accidental mark. I’ve spent a long time looking at it through a loupe and it doesn’t make sense otherwise.
Thanks to everyone who contacted me regarding the post on What is Vintage Silver Part 2 last week. I’m relieved to know it irks other people too.
