01.14.11 It’s Friday isn’t it? Usually this is the day for a long post on a substantive topic. Well, it’s been a busy week, which I’ll explain about below. Among the things I’ve done this week is…
Add a new page
I’m going to start a Resources list. Books, articles, shopping guides, good information that comes my way and you might find useful. It will, of course focus on silver, but I’ll broaden it out a bit to include antiques more generally. You can find Resources at the top of the page or Resources.
New posting schedule
I’m also going to shake it up a little and re-arrange the schedule of blog posting on Notes & Observations.
On Monday the Monogram Challenge will be posted. However, instead of a winner on Wednesday, the winner will be announced on Friday. That’ll give more people a chance to post a response. These posts will be in the Monogram Challenge category.
Wednesday will be the day for a new post in the Notes & Observations category. These are the longer, more detailed posts – the dishwasher debate – those types of pieces.
Friday posts will be a combination of the monogram challenge winner and some relaxing Eye Candy to get your weekend off to a nice start.
So without further ado, let’s get on with the point of the post…
Monogram challenge winner
Our winner this week is ELL! We had two correct entries this week and I drew from a hat to break the tie. ELL get in touch and you can claim your tickets to The Drowsy Chaperone.
To give the adrenaline a chance to ebb away, why don’t you move on to this week’s
Relax and enjoy – Eye Candy.
One last note
This is the other item that has kept me so busy for the last 10 days or so. I was very flattered to be asked to write a piece for Antiques News And Fairs in the UK about Silver Magpies. It is featured on their website and you can find it here – From Silver to Green and Back Again.
As always, please leave your comments and let me know what you think. I love to hear from you!
